Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer onboard a modern PSV trading in the North Sea. You will be part of a professional bridge team, ensuring safe navigation and supporting offshore operations in a demanding environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Officer with voyage planning, bridge watchkeeping and ship handling
- Maintain safe navigation in all weather and traffic conditions
- Assist with DP operations and offshore support work as required
- Oversee deck operations, cargo handling and safety routines
- Keep navigational equipment, charts and publications up to date
- Support the vessel’s safety management system and take part in drills
Requirements
- Valid STCW Officer of the Watch (OOW) or equivalent 2/O license
- Previous experience as 2nd Officer, preferably on PSV or other offshore vessels
- Valid offshore and medical certificates as per North Sea requirements
- Good knowledge of COLREGs, bridge procedures and safety standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international crew
