Key responsibilities
- Assist with mooring, unmooring, and anchoring operations
- Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting, and cleaning
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge watch as directed
- Handle cargo gear, lashing, and securing of containers
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety drills
- Support officers and senior crew with day-to-day deck duties
Requirements
- Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman and Basic Safety Training
- Valid seaman’s book and medical fitness certificate
- Experience on container vessels preferred, but not mandatory
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for deck work and willing to work in all weather conditions
- Team player with a positive and safety-minded attitude
