OSM Thome is looking for an experienced AB who can also operate an excavator onboard. If you are a steady hand on deck and skilled with excavator work, this role could be a good fit for you.
As a trusted operator with extensive experience in offshore vessel management, we are building a strong talent pool to support upcoming subsea rock installation projects. We welcome expressions of interest for the position of AB/Excavator Operator
Requirements
- Valid AB certificate and STCW documents as per rank
- Proven experience as AB on seagoing vessels
- Practical experience operating excavators, preferably in marine or port work
- Good understanding of deck operations and cargo handling
- Ability to work in a team and follow safety rules at all times
- Preferred practical experience with a variety of large equipment like knuckle boom cranes, other large cranes, fork lifts
- Willing to undergo the necessary training for operating excavators if applicable
