Join OSM Thome as Chief Cook on an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading in the North Sea. You will run the galley, prepare daily meals, and secure good food standards and hygiene for all crew onboard.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan menus and prepare three daily meals and snacks for crew and officers
- Order, receive, and store provisions, keeping proper stock control
- Maintain high standards of galley cleanliness and food hygiene
- Follow company safety procedures and support a safe working environment
- Work closely with the Master and Chief Officer on budget and stores
- Requirements:
- Sea-going experience as Chief Cook, preferably on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fit for duty
- Good knowledge of international and mixed crew cuisine
- Strong hygiene, food safety and stock management skills
- Good English communication skills
