Join OSM Thome as Bosun on our oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will lead the deck crew in all daily deck and cargo-related work, keeping the vessel safe, seaworthy and well maintained.
- Key responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise deck ratings in all deck operations
- Organize and carry out mooring, unmooring and anchoring jobs
- Oversee deck maintenance, painting, cleaning and minor repairs
- Assist with cargo operations and tank preparations as required
- Ensure safe working practices and proper use of equipment
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Bosun on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker endorsements
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Strong leadership and hands-on deck skills
- Fit for duty and ready for worldwide trading
