- Job Title: 2nd Engineer DP.
- Project: Offshore Vessel.
- Location: Worldwide.
- Rotation: 35/35 days on/off.
- Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly salary (not paid while on rotational leave ).
- Overtime: Applicable.
- Contract Start: TBC.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Minimum 5 years of sea service as First Engineer on DP-operated heavy lift and/or pipelay vessels.
- Valid STCW III/2 Certificate of Competency (Chief Engineer Officer – Management Level).
- STCW required certificates: Personal survival techniques A-VI/1-1, Fire prevention and firefighting A-VI/1-2, Elementary first aid A-VI/1-3, Personal safety & social responsibilities A-VI/1-4, Proficiency in survival craft and rescue boat (other than fast rescue boat) A-VI/2-1, Advanced firefighting A-VI/3, Medical First Aid A-VI/4-1, Security awareness A-VI/6-1, Seafarers with designated security duties A-VI/6-2, Leadership and Teamwork Skills (Engine Department), High Voltage Operations and Safety at Management Level.
- Offshore safety qualifications, including Marine Evacuation System training, HUET, CA-EBS, and Hâ‚‚S awareness, Safe Return to Port awareness, K-Chief 700 introductory and maintenance modules, K-Thrust 700 maintenance training, DP Power Management System operator training, Damage Control Team training.
- Demonstrated experience supervising, leading, and coordinating engineering personnel.
Tasks:
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of all engine room systems on DP construction vessels.
- Lead, mentor, and allocate work across the engineering team to maintain high operational standards.
- Plan and supervise preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures, statutory requirements, and class regulations.
- Support DP operations by maintaining the reliability of propulsion, power generation, and associated control systems.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities and participate in onboard response teams.
- Maintain accurate technical records, maintenance documentation, and spare parts management.
- Work closely with vessel management to deliver safe and uninterrupted project execution.
