Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo deck operations
- Carry out chipping, painting, cleaning, and general deck maintenance
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge when required
- Handle mooring ropes, wires, and deck gear safely
- Support offshore cable-layer operations as directed by officers and Bosun
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills
Requirements:
- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training
- Ordinary Seaman (OS) seaman’s book/rating certificate as required by flag
- Valid medical certificate fit for offshore service
- Previous deck experience; offshore or cable-layer experience is an advantage
- Good command of English and strong safety mindset
- Willingness to work in a multinational crew and worldwide trading pattern
