Join OSM Thome, IWS as a Fitter on a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) operating offshore Denmark. You will work closely with the technical crew to keep all steel structures, pipelines and equipment in good and safe working condition.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out steel repairs, welding and cutting work on deck and in engine spaces
- Assist with maintenance and repair of pipes, brackets, foundations and supports
- Work together with engineers and deck crew on planned and unplanned repairs
- Follow onboard safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in workshop areas
- Use and maintain tools, welding machines and equipment in a safe and proper way
- Requirements:
- Relevant experience as Fitter / Welder in the maritime or offshore industry
- Strong skills in welding, cutting and basic fabrication work
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fit for offshore / seagoing duty
- Good English communication skills
- Willingness to work in a shift / rotation pattern offshore Denmark
