OSM Thome is looking for a skilled Motorman / Oiler to serve on a car carrier trading worldwide. You will be part of a steady engine room team, keeping machinery running safely and efficiently on all voyages.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist Engine Officers in daily engine room operations
- Carry out routine lube oiling, greasing and machinery checks
- Perform watchkeeping duties as instructed
- Support planned maintenance and repair of main and auxiliary engines
- Keep engine room and workshop clean, safe and in good order
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) certificate and STCW documents
- Previous sea service in the engine department, preferably on similar vessels
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea duty
- Team player with a safe working attitude
