  • Job Title: Maintenance and Assurance Officer.
  • Project: Various Offshore Vessels.
  • Location: Worldwide.
  • Duration: 12 months (renewable).
  • Rotation: 90/30 days on/off or 56/28 days on/off.
  • Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated net monthly, not paid while on rotational leave.
  • Start date: TBC.
  • Overtime: Applicable.
  • Insurance: Provided by the company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Around 3 years' experience in a technical administration, document control, or maintenance support role within the oil and gas, energy, or similar industrial sector.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and electronic document management platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good understanding of maintenance workflows, technical documentation, and change control processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across site and office teams.
  • Professional level of written and spoken English.


Tasks:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and technical support to the local asset management team.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records by updating the CMMS and tracking work order progress.
  • Assist technical personnel with maintenance-related coordination and documentation.
  • Monitor equipment issues, maintenance reports, and outstanding corrective actions, escalating concerns where required.
  • Support maintenance planning activities, including work order administration and process improvements.
  • Coordinate Management of Change (MOC) documentation, monitor approvals, and track close-out actions.
  • Assist with facility maintenance administration and related support activities.
  • Maintain employee timesheet records and provide administrative follow-up.
  • Prepare material request documentation and maintain associated records.
  • Manage site documentation by updating procedures, manuals, forms, and operational records within the document management system.
  • Track action items, technical findings, and integrity-related tasks, providing status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain registers for equipment certifications, including lifting gear, rigging, and wire rope documentation.
  • Administer office consumables, stationery, and printer supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Liaise with both site personnel and head office to ensure documentation, maintenance data, and asset records remain accurate and current.
