Steward/Stewardess wanted for RORO/ROPAX vessel in UK with DFDS.
We are looking for an experienced Steward/Stewardess (STWD) to work on RORO/ROPAX vessels trading in the UK. You will help ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment for passengers and crew, delivering good service at all times.
Joining: SOONEST
Contract till: 31/08/2026
Than option for rotation 4 week ON / 4 week OFF
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with meal service in mess rooms, restaurants and lounges
- Clean and maintain cabins, mess rooms and public areas
- Handle linen, laundry and cabin supplies
- Support embarkation and disembarkation of passengers when required
- Follow all safety, hygiene and security procedures on board
Requirements:
- Previous seagoing experience as Steward/Stewardess, preferably on RORO/ROPAX
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical fit for duty
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Strong customer service attitude and good teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours in a shift/rotation pattern
