Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will work with an experienced crew, support safe deck operations, and build your sea career on modern, well-managed vessels.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring and cargo operations on deck
- Carry out chipping, painting, greasing and general deck maintenance
- Keep deck areas, equipment and accommodation clean and tidy
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge as directed
- Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
- Support emergency drills and comply with company policies
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
- Tanker (oil/chemical) familiarization certificate preferred
- Valid seaman’s book, medical certificate and basic safety training
- Good English communication at sea-working level
- Previous experience on tankers is an advantage
- Fit for duty, safety-minded and willing to work in a team worldwide
