OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Master (CPT) for an AHTS vessel trading in European and UK waters. Lead safe and efficient offshore operations, manage your crew, and ensure the vessel performs to the highest operational and safety standards.

contract duration: 4 weeks (one trip)
Key Responsibilities
- Overall command of the vessel, crew and cargo
- Plan and execute anchor handling and towing operations safely
- Ensure full compliance with COLREGs, ISM, ISPS and company procedures
- Oversee navigation, DP operations (if applicable), and bridge management
- Maintain vessel seaworthiness, documentation and reporting
- Lead, train and motivate officers and crew
- Coordinate with clients, charterers and offshore installations as required
Requirements
- Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) CoC
- Proven experience as Master on AHTS
- Strong background in anchor handling and towing operations
- All mandatory STCW certificates and offshore survival/medical up to date
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Strong leadership, communication and safety mindset
- Eligible to work in European and UK waters as required
