Join OSM Thome as a Steward/Stewardess on an offshore cable-layer vessel trading worldwide. You will support the crew by keeping living and common areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked, and by assisting in the galley and mess room when required.
- Key responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain cabins, corridors, sanitary areas and common spaces
- Assist in mess room service, including setting up, serving and clearing meals
- Support galley staff with basic food preparation and dishwashing
- Ensure proper handling and storage of linen, cleaning materials and stores
- Follow safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards at all times
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as steward/stewardess offshore or on merchant vessels preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness as per offshore requirements
- Good English communication skills
- Strong focus on cleanliness, hygiene and safe working practices
- Ability to work in rotation and as part of an international crew
