Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on an offshore construction vessel operating in UK waters. You will be responsible for all electrical and electronic systems onboard, helping to ensure safe, efficient and reliable vessel operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all electrical and electronic equipment onboard
- Monitor and maintain power generation and distribution systems
- Look after DP, navigation, communication and automation systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate technical records
- Support safe vessel operations in close cooperation with deck and engine teams
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates
- Valid UK Work Permit or UK Visa
- Previous experience as ETO, preferably on offshore or construction vessels
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for sea service and willing to work in a multinational crew
