Join OSM Thome, IWS as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a modern Service Operation Vessel (SOV) trading in German waters. Work closely with a professional offshore crew, support safe turbine operations, and build solid sea time in a stable, long-term project.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out deck work including mooring, unmooring, and cargo handling
- Assist with gangway and transfer operations for technicians
- Perform lookout and helmsman duties as directed by the bridge
- Support maintenance of deck equipment, safety gear, and work areas
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and toolbox talks
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and STCW basic safety training
- Experience on offshore or similar vessels is an advantage
- Valid medical fitness certificate (e.g. ENG1 or equivalent)
- Good English communication skills
- Right to work in the EU is preferred
