Join OSM Thome, IWS as an Able Seafarer (AB) onboard modern Service Operation Vessels (SOV) working offshore France. You will be part of a professional crew supporting offshore wind operations in a safe and efficient way.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out mooring, anchoring, and deck operations as directed by officers
- Assist with loading, discharging, and securing cargo and equipment
- Stand lookout and gangway watch, reporting any irregularities
- Perform general maintenance, painting, and cleaning on deck areas
- Operate deck gear and assist with offshore operations and transfers
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and STCW documents according to international standards
- Previous experience as AB, preferably on offshore or SOV vessels
- Good safety awareness and ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Fit for sea duty with valid medical certificate
- Basic English communication skills for work and safety
