Join our crew as 2nd Engineer on an oil/chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will support safe and efficient engine room operations, working closely with the Chief Engineer and the rest of the engine team to keep all machinery running smoothly.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation, monitoring and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and all engine room equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting as instructed by Chief Engineer
- Ensure engine room safety, cleanliness and compliance with company and international regulations
- Keep accurate engine room records, logs and maintenance reports
- Participate in bunkering, drills and other shipboard operations as required
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Engineer (Unlimited) CoC, STCW compliant
- Tanker experience, preferably on oil/chemical tankers
- Good knowledge of engine room systems and machinery
- Valid STCW safety and tanker endorsements
- Good English communication skills and strong safety mindset
