OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join our bulk carrier fleet trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical, electronic and control systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot power generation and distribution systems
- Maintain and test automation, alarm and monitoring systems
- Take care of navigation, communication and cargo-related electrical equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance and keep proper technical records
- Support the engine department in safe and efficient vessel operations
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all mandatory STCW certificates and BT PSSR Training
- Good knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems
- Good English communication and ability to work in an international crew
- Fit for duty with valid medical examination
- Candidate prefers with valid US Visa
- Candidate must have experience in Bulk vessel with ME type of engine
