- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
- Handle deck equipment, lines, fenders and gangway
- Stand lookout and assist on the bridge as required
- Support cargo operations as directed by officers and Bosun
- Follow company safety procedures and use PPE at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
- Previous tanker experience (crude oil) preferred
- Valid seafarer’s medical certificate and seaman’s book
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for hard physical work and routine deck duties
- Team player with a strong safety mindset
- With tanker experience
