Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on a modern Liquefied CO2 tanker trading in Norway. In this role you will be responsible for safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems onboard, supporting smooth cargo and ship operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot all electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on power generation and distribution equipment
- Support cargo handling systems and control systems for LCO2 operations
- Ensure safe operation of navigation, communication and safety systems
- Keep records, reports and documentation up to date
- Work closely with the engine and deck teams to secure safe and efficient vessel operations
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC (STCW)
- Previous experience as ETO, preferably on tankers or gas carriers
- Good knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on approach
- Good command of Scandinavian languages and English
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
