Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading in the North Sea. You will be part of a professional engine team, helping to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operating and maintaining main engine, auxiliary engines and engine room machinery
- Carry out routine checks, maintenance and repairs as directed by the 2/E and C/E
- Monitor fuel, lube oil and cooling systems and keep accurate records
- Support bunkering, ballasting and cargo operations from the engine side
- Follow safety, environmental and company procedures at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) CoC, tanker/oil & chemical endorsements
- Experience on oil and/or chemical tankers preferred
- Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker safety trainings
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
