Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a Fast Supply Vessel (FSV) operating offshore Luanda, Angola. We are looking for a competent and safety-minded AB with solid offshore experience to support deck operations and vessel maintenance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out mooring, anchor handling and cargo operations as directed
- Perform routine deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Assist with loading/discharging of supplies and equipment offshore
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge when required
- Operate deck gear and equipment safely as per instructions
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in drills
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and seafarer documents in line with STCW
- Proven experience as AB, preferably on offshore or supply vessels
- Valid medical fitness certificate and offshore survival (preferred)
- Good English communication skills
- Safe working attitude and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
