Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in safe navigation and overall vessel operations
- Plan and supervise cargo, deck, and supply operations
- Lead and manage deck crew, ensuring safe working practices
- Oversee mooring, unmooring, and offshore support operations
- Monitor and maintain safety, security, and environmental standards (ISM/ISPS)
- Maintain deck equipment, lifesaving and firefighting appliances
- Prepare and update logs, reports, and checklists as required
Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer / Chief Mate STCW license (unlimited or appropriate for vessel/trade)
- Previous experience as C/O or 2/O on offshore or fast supply vessels preferred
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety training and medical certificate
- Good knowledge of offshore operations, DP awareness an advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and English language skills
- Fit for duty and willing to work in offshore rotation in Israel
