OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Cook (C/C) to serve onboard an Offshore Fast Supply Vessel (FSV) operating out of Luanda, Angola. You will be responsible for planning and preparing daily meals for the crew and ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety in the galley.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan menus and prepare nutritious meals for crew and officers
- Manage galley operations, including cooking, cleaning, and stock control
- Order, receive, and store provisions safely and efficiently
- Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the galley
- Work closely with the Master and officers on catering needs and budgets
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chief Cook onboard offshore or similar vessels
- Valid seafarer documents and medicals as per international and flag requirements
- Knowledge of maritime food safety and galley hygiene standards
- Ability to plan menus and manage food stores for multinational crews
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a small crew
