OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 3rd Officer for oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Join our vessel team and support safe and efficient deck and cargo operations in a professional international environment.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watch and ensure safe passage at sea and in port
- Assist with cargo operations, tank inspections and line-up checks
- Monitor and maintain safety and firefighting equipment
- Update charts, publications and navigational equipment
- Support the implementation of SMS, ISM, ISPS and company procedures
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license, meeting STCW requirements
- Previous experience on oil/chemical tankers preferred
- Valid tanker endorsements and all required STCW certificates
- Good spoken and written English
- Medically fit for sea service and ready to join worldwide
