Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a Diving Support Vessel (DSV) operating offshore Brunei. You will be part of a professional deck team, supporting safe and efficient marine and diving operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mooring and anchoring operations safely
- Handle lines, fenders, and deck gear during vessel movements
- Perform lookout and helmsman duties as directed by the officer on watch
- Assist with deck maintenance, painting, chipping, and cleaning
- Support diving operations as required, following all safety procedures
- Participate in safety drills and follow company and vessel safety rules
Requirements
- Valid AB seafarer documents and certificates as per STCW
- Previous experience as AB, preferably on offshore or DSV vessels
- Valid offshore medical certificate and seafarer’s medical fitness
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work in offshore conditions in Brunei
