OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Able Seafarer (AB) to join our oil/chemical tanker fleet trading worldwide. Sail with a professional crew and work in a safe, well-managed operation with modern vessels.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck watchkeeping duties and assist on bridge as lookout
- Handle mooring and unmooring operations safely
- Assist with cargo operations, hose handling and tank preparation
- Perform routine deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Operate and maintain deck equipment as instructed
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and STCW documents in line with tanker requirements
- Previous experience on oil and/or chemical tankers
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in a mixed crew
