Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on a chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will sail in an international team, support safe cargo operations, and build your experience in a professional and well-managed fleet.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer with navigation, watchkeeping and ship’s stability
- Plan and execute voyage passages and keep navigational records updated
- Support cargo operations and tank inspections as per company and charterer instructions
- Maintain safety, pollution prevention and security standards on board
- Conduct safety rounds, drills and equipment checks as assigned
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer's licence
- Recent experience on chemical or product tankers
- Valid tanker certificates (Advanced Chemical Tanker preferred)
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service and all documents up to date
