- Key responsibilities:
- Bridge watchkeeping and safe navigation
- Planning and monitoring voyage routes
- Assist with cargo and ballast operations
- Maintain charts, publications and navigation equipment
- Participate in drills, safety rounds and ISM procedures
- Support the Chief Officer with deck and safety duties
- Requirements:
- Valid II/1 or II/2 COC as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch
- Recent experience as 2/O or experienced 3/O on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid tanker familiarization and advanced oil/chemical tanker certificates
- All mandatory STCW certificates and valid seafarer medical
- Good English communication skills
- Strong focus on safety and compliance
