- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck work, maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Assist with cargo operations, mooring, unmooring and anchoring
- Stand lookout and helm watch as directed by the officer on watch
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills and inspections
- Handle equipment, lines and gear in a safe and correct manner
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and STCW documents
- Experience on chemical or product tankers preferred
- Tanker familiarization and basic tanker safety certificates
- Good spoken English and ability to follow orders clearly
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and travel‑ready documents
