Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will be a key part of the deck team, supporting safe and efficient vessel operations on international routes.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master with safe navigation and ship handling
- Plan and supervise cargo operations for chemical cargoes
- Lead and manage deck crew in day-to-day duties
- Ensure vessel complies with safety, environmental and ISM requirements
- Oversee maintenance of deck equipment and cargo gear
- Maintain deck logs, reports and cargo documentation
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer license for chemical tankers
- Recent experience as C/O on chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker endorsements
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Strong leadership, safety awareness and teamwork skills
