- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in overall ship management and navigation
- Plan and supervise cargo operations for chemical cargoes
- Lead and manage the deck crew in daily work and maintenance
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with regulations
- Maintain stability, loading plans, and deck documentation
- Oversee deck equipment, safety gear, and emergency drills
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer license (unlimited) with STCW certificates up to date
- Recent experience as C/O on chemical tankers
- Strong knowledge of chemical cargo handling and safety procedures
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificates
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and safety mindset
