**Description**
Electrician required for VLCC tanker under Liberia flag, worldwide trading. Responsible for safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems on board.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical equipment, switchboards and distribution systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot engine room electrical systems, cargo pumps and deck machinery
- Carry out maintenance and repair of navigation and communication equipment as directed
- Monitor and maintain lighting, power supply, alarm and monitoring systems
- Keep records of electrical maintenance, repairs and spare parts
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety rules and company procedures
**Requirements**
- Valid Electrician (ELEC) certificate for seagoing vessels
- At least 2 years tanker experience, preferably on VLCC or similar
- Experience in operation and maintenance of marine electrical and electronic systems
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness as per international requirements
- Good command of English (spoken and written) for shipboard communication and documentation
