Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on an oil/chemical tanker trading in Europe. Work with an experienced crew, develop your deck skills, and build your seagoing career in a safe and professional environment.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck maintenance, including chipping, painting and cleaning
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
- Support cargo and tank cleaning operations as directed
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge and deck watches
- Follow all safety procedures and use PPE correctly
- Assist officers and senior crew with daily tasks as required
- Requirements:
- Valid Ordinary Seaman / Deck Rating certificates as per STCW
- Basic Tanker / Oil & Chemical familiarization (preferred)
- Valid medical certificate and required travel documents
- Previous tanker experience is an advantage
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for deck work and willing to follow safety standards
