Join OSM Thome as Chief Cook on an offshore support vessel in Taiwan. You will manage the galley and prepare good, wholesome meals for the crew, keeping high standards of hygiene and safety at all times.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and cook daily meals for all crew and visitors
- Manage food stores, provisions and stock rotation
- Keep galley, mess room and food storage areas clean and tidy
- Follow all hygiene, health and safety rules
- Assist with ordering and inventory control
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chief Cook or Cook at sea, preferably offshore
- Valid STCW certificates and Medical Fitness certificate
- Good knowledge of galley safety and food hygiene
- Ability to plan menus and work within set budgets
- Good English communication and teamwork skills
