Work offshore with a leading drilling and construction contractor as a Commissioning & Maintenance Mechanical Superintendent. 


Information about the job

  • Job Position:  Commissioning & Maintenance Mechanical Superintendent.
  • Location: Worldwide (currently for Romania).
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Rotation: 56/28.
  • Salary: Please indicate your realistic wage expectations CM in USD/GBP/EUR. Amount to be paid only when working, not paid when on leave.
  • Overtime: Applicable.
  • Working days/ hours: 12 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  • Insurance: Provided by Company.
  • Travel: According to Corporate Standards, Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle.
  • Pre employment expenses: On Company's account.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the passing valves issues and prepare for repair. 
  • Coordinate to finalise pedestal crane punch list.
  • Coordinate to finalise TEMPSC punch list.
  • Execute the remaining part of the TEMPSC CTP. 
  • Finalise and execute the Fixed Lifting Equipment CTP (JIP Cranes).
  • Validate the Fixed Lifting Equipment ITRs on WINPCS and start execution. 
  • Coordinate with LIFSOR for the overall fixed lifting equipment execution. 
  • Check and manage the diesel system removal from the GTG. 
  • Check and update the CTPs requirements for the mechanical discipline.
  • Daily site visits to ensure proper execution on timely manner. 
  • Review, validate and follow up the rectification of the mechanical Punch list.
  • Update the daily report with the above activities on daily basis.

 Requirements/ Qualifications/ Competence

  • Minimum English Level -B1.
  • Proven experience in mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proven experience in a Superintendent role within the Offshore industry.
  • Equivalent degree or diploma.
