OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) trading in the UK sector. You will be responsible for all electrical and electronic systems onboard, ensuring safe and reliable operations at all times.
- Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair all electrical, electronic and automation systems onboard
- Carry out troubleshooting on power generation, distribution and control systems
- Support deck and engine departments with technical issues related to electrical equipment
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, flag and class requirements
- Keep maintenance records and update planned maintenance system
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC meeting STCW requirements
- Proven sea service as ETO, preferably on offshore / PSV vessels
- Strong experience with marine electrical and automation systems
- Valid offshore certificates as required for UK sector (e.g. BOSIET/FOET, medical)
- Good English communication skills and a strong safety mindset
