Join OSM Thome as Motorman / Oiler onboard an offshore PSV working in United Kingdom waters. You will support the engine room team to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently, contributing to reliable vessel operations offshore.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines
- Carry out routine checks, cleaning, greasing and lube oil duties
- Monitor machinery, report defects and assist with basic repairs
- Keep engine room and workshop clean, safe and in good order
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and toolbox talks
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Motorman / Oiler, preferably on offshore or PSV vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and Medical (ENG1 or equivalent)
- Engine Room Watch Rating / Motorman certificate as required
- Good English communication and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
- Strong safety awareness and willingness to work in a shift/rotation system
