Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer (3/E) on LPG/Ethylene/Ammonia tankers trading worldwide. Be part of a professional engine team keeping vessel and cargo operations safe and efficient.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist 2/E and C/E in operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery and equipment
- Carry out routine watchkeeping duties and engine room rounds
- Perform planned maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting as assigned
- Ensure safe operation of fuel, lube oil and cooling systems
- Maintain good engine room housekeeping and follow all safety procedures
- Keep accurate engine room logs and maintenance records
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer CoC (unlimited), meeting STCW requirements
- Tanker experience preferred, LPG/Ethylene experience an advantage
- Valid STCW basic and tanker certificates, including medical
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in a multinational crew
