- Key responsibilities:
- Stand bridge watch and assist with safe navigation and collision avoidance
- Assist with voyage planning, position fixing and maintaining charts and publications
- Support cargo operations, stability checks and safe handling of vehicles
- Carry out safety rounds, inspections and assist in drills
- Assist with maintenance of deck equipment and safety gear
- Follow company procedures, SMS and industry regulations at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Officer / OOW Deck license (STCW compliant)
- Previous experience on Ro-Ro or car carriers preferred
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety trainings and medical fitness
- Good English communication, spoken and written
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and good watchkeeping skills
