Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading in the North Sea. You will work in an experienced engine team, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all machinery and systems onboard.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and watchkeeping of main engine and auxiliaries
- Carry out planned maintenance and repair of engine room equipment
- Monitor and record engine room parameters and logbook entries
- Support bunkering, fuel treatment, and lube oil management
- Follow safety procedures and assist in drills and emergency response
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) CoC, preferably tanker endorsed
- Oil/Chemical tanker experience is an advantage
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker familiarization
- Good English communication and teamwork skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
