Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on a shuttle tanker operating in Brazil. You will be part of a professional engine team, making sure all machinery runs safely and efficiently during offshore loading and discharging operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and ship systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and repair work as assigned by senior engineers
- Monitor engine room equipment, record parameters and report any abnormalities
- Ensure safe engine room practices and compliance with company and class standards
- Support bunkering, cargo and DP/shuttle operations from the engine side
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) CoC, suitable for tanker trade
- Tanker experience required
- All mandatory STCW and tanker safety certificates up to date
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical and seaman’s documents, eligible to work in Brazil
