Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Be part of a professional crew, keep the vessel safe and clean, and build solid sea experience in a global fleet.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist deck officers and Bosun with daily deck work
- Perform routine maintenance, chipping, painting, and cleaning
- Handle mooring and unmooring operations
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge when required
- Support cargo operations as directed, following safety procedures
- Follow company safety rules and participate in drills
- Requirements:
- Valid Basic STCW certificates
- Valid seaman’s book and medical certificate (fit for duty)
- Tanker/oil or chemical vessel experience preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with safe working attitude and willingness to learn
