We are looking for an experienced Master (CPT) to lead a PSV operating offshore Brazil. You will have full command of the vessel, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Overall command of the PSV and crew, ensuring safety of life, vessel and cargo
- Plan and execute offshore operations in line with charterer and company procedures
- Navigate and maneuver the vessel safely in offshore fields and port areas
- Ensure compliance with flag, class, ISM, ISPS and company requirements
- Lead and motivate the crew, ensuring good discipline and teamwork
- Oversee maintenance, drills and emergency preparedness
- Maintain clear communication with office, agents and charterers
Requirements
- Valid Master (Unlimited) CoC
- Relevant offshore/PSV experience as Master or Chief Officer
- Good knowledge of DP operations and offshore safety standards
- All mandatory STCW certificates and offshore medical, valid for Brazil
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Good English, spoken and written
