Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on a PSV offshore Brazil. You will be in charge of all engine room operations, keeping machinery safe, efficient, and ready for offshore work.
- Key responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and train engine room crew
- Plan and carry out maintenance and repairs of all machinery and equipment
- Monitor engine performance and fuel/oil consumption
- Ensure safe operation of propulsion, power generation and auxiliary systems
- Keep engine room logs, reports and maintenance records up to date
- Make sure all work follows safety, class, flag and company standards
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Engineer license, meeting STCW requirements
- Proven experience as C/E, preferably on PSV or offshore vessels
- Good knowledge of diesel engines, generators and auxiliary systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good English, spoken and written
- All required offshore and medical certificates valid for Brazil
