Set sail as an Electrician (ELEC) on a bulk carrier with OSM Thome, trading worldwide. Work with a professional crew, keeping all electrical and electronic systems safe and reliable at sea.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard
- Monitor and troubleshoot power distribution, generators, motors, and control panels
- Support safe and efficient operation of cargo handling and deck machinery
- Keep proper records of electrical maintenance and spare parts
- Follow safety procedures and assist during drills and emergency situations
- Requirements:
- Valid Electrician (ELEC) license and STCW certificates as required
- Seagoing experience as Electrician, preferably on bulk carriers
- Good knowledge of marine electrical systems and fault-finding
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international crew
- Good English communication skills
