Offshore Rigger needed for various Offshore Projects, worldwide with availability to mobilize within max 5/6 weeks. Employment is with our client, a drilling and construction contractor.
Job Information
- Position: Offshore Rigger.
- Project: Various Offshore Projects.
- Location: Worldwide.
- Contract start: TBC. Availability to mobilize within max. 5/6 weeks.
- Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
- Rotation: 112/28 on/off.
- Working hours: 12 hours/ day - 7 days/ week.
- Salary: Please indicate your realistic consolidated monthly wage expectations in USD/GBP/EUR. Paid only while working, not when on leave.
- Insurances: Provided.
- Flights: Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle.
Requirements/ Competence/ Qualifications
- High School / Secondary diploma.
- Minimum 6 years as a Rigger within Offshore experience.
- English Language skills required.
- BOSIET.
Mission
- Carries out rigging activities in line with instructions given by own Deck Foreman / Rigging Foreman and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Job Description
- Performs rigging works in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
- If certified to do so, carries out the construction of scaffolding structures in accordance with the instruction given by the supervisor.
- If certified to do so, drives the fork-lift.
- Follows daily instructions given by the Deck Foreman or Rigging Foreman.
- Ensures rigging works are carried out according to the applicable rigging standards and best practices.
- Verifies that the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and reports any anomalies to the Deck/Rigging Foreman.
- Ensures coordination with the adjacent works to minimize coactivity and avoids unsafe conditions.
- Follows the Permit-to-Work procedure.
- Ensures the housekeeping of the work location.
- During offshore or marine-related activities, assists the marine department during mooring operations as required.
- Reports to the Rigging Foreman or the Deck Foreman.
