Join OSM Thome as Master on a PSV operating offshore Brazil. You will take full command of the vessel, ensure safe and efficient operations, and lead a professional crew in a busy offshore environment.
Key responsibilities
- Overall command and safe navigation of the PSV
- Plan and execute voyages and offshore operations in line with company and client procedures
- Ensure compliance with international, flag state and company regulations
- Manage and lead the crew, maintaining good discipline and teamwork
- Oversee cargo, DP operations and station keeping as per offshore requirements
- Maintain a strong safety culture and conduct drills and safety meetings
- Ensure proper maintenance of vessel, documentation and reports
Requirements
- Valid Master (CPT) license appropriate for PSV/offshore operations
- Previous experience as Master or Chief Officer on PSV or similar offshore vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Good knowledge of offshore operations and safety procedures
- Strong leadership, communication and crew management skills
- Good English communication skills; Portuguese an advantage
- Willingness to work in Brazil on offshore rotation
