Utility/Steward – Passenger Ocean Cruise Vessel (Mediterranean, joining in Montevideo, Bermuda flag)
**Description**
Utility/Steward for passenger ocean cruise vessel under Bermuda flag, trading in the Mediterranean, joining in Montevideo. The role supports hotel, housekeeping and pantry operations to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards for guests and crew.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Clean and maintain passenger and crew areas, including cabins, corridors, public areas and pantries
- Collect, sort and dispose of garbage and waste according to vessel procedures
- Assist in dishwashing, galley cleaning and mess room services as required
- Replenish cleaning materials, linen, towels and cabin supplies
- Follow all safety, security and hygiene procedures on board
- Assist during drills and emergency situations as directed by officers
- Report any damage, defects or safety hazards to supervisors
**Requirements**
- Previous experience on board passenger or cruise vessels in a utility, steward or similar role
- Valid BT COP (Basic Training Certificate of Proficiency)
- Valid SDSD COP (Security Awareness or Designated Security Duties, as applicable)
- Valid Crowd Management and Crisis/Passenger Safety certificate
- Valid SID (Seafarer’s Identity Document)
- Good English communication suitable for shipboard operations
- Fit for duty and able to work in a shift/rotational schedule at sea
